The Quiet Corner's Ride for the Cure nor the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Inc. is responsible for any injury or loss of property to any person suffered while attending, riding, or in any way involved in the Quiet Corner's Ride for the Cure for any reason, whatsoever, including ordinary negligence on the part of the Quiet Corner's Ride for the Cure, its officers, agents or volunteers.

Pursuant to Connecticut House Bill No. 6357 Public Act No. 93286, I acknowledge the inherent risks involved in riding, working around or being in close proximity to horses, which risks include bodily injury to either horse or person. I hereby release and hold harmless the Quiet Corner's Ride for the Cure and the Susan G. Komen Foundation and its members; landowners, including but not limited to M/M Wm. MacLaren, Mrs. Betty Hale, M/M Denis Morrisette, M/M David Loos, M/M William Loos, Tyrone Farm Management Inc.,the managers and trustees of the Pomfret School, and any volunteer or organizer from all liability for negligence resulting in accident, damage, injury or illness to myself or any family member or spectator accompanying me, and to my property, including the horse or horses which will participate in this event.

I also understand that the landowners receive no part of the fees charged for this event and that they are not paid by the Quiet Corner's Ride for the Cure or the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the use of their land.
