Ride for the Cure
From Mass:
Take I-290-West to I-395 South.
Take exit 97, turn right onto Route 44 West. Follow Route 44 to
Tyrone Road (approximately 4.5 miles). You will drive through
"downtown" Putnam, pass the Day Kimball Hospital (on
your left), and continue to Tyrone Road (on your left). Look for
sign: Ride for the
Cure at the beginning of Tyrone
Rd.
From CT (points south
of Putnam):
Take I-395 North to Exit 95 (Kennedy
Drive), turn right onto Kennedy Drive. Straight to traffic light
(downtown Putnam),turn left onto Route 44. Tyrone Road is about
2.5 miles from this intersection. You will pass Day Kimball Hospital
(on your left) and continue to Tyrone Road (on your left). Look
for sign: Ride for
the Cure at the beginning of
Tyrone Road.
From Hartford (I-84):
Take I-84 East to Exit 69 for Route
74. Turn right onto Route 74. Follow 74 to intersection with Route
44 about 7.5 miles. Turn left onto Route 44. After approximately
11 miles, Route 44 bears left. Continue to follow Route 44 to
stop sign. Turn left onto Route 169/44. (If you miss turn,
stay straight on Route 101 to traffic light, turn right onto Route
169). Follow Routes 169/44 to stop sign (about 3 miles) .
Turn right onto Route 44. Tyrone Road will be ~ 1 mile on your
right. Look for sign: Ride
for the Cure at the beginning
of Tyrone Rd.
From Providence:
Take Route 6 West to I-395 North
to Exit 95 (Kennedy Drive), turn right onto Kennedy Drive. Straight
to traffic light (downtown Putnam), turn left onto Route 44. Tyrone
Road is about 2.5 miles from this intersection. You will pass
Day Kimball Hospital (on your left) and continue to Tyrone Road
(on your left). Look for sign: Ride
for the Cure at the beginning
of Tyrone Road.
